Position: Goods Receiver
Location: North West London NW1
Hours: Full time hours 9am-6pm Monday-Friday
Salary: up to £13ph
We have a great opportunity in one of the world’s leading sports hospitality venues to become a goods receiver, here at Chef Zone we are passionate about providing our clients with top quality staff that share the zest for the industry and are looking to progress and work in a quality venue in North London.
What is your role as a Goods Receiver?
• To work closely with the Back of House Team to receive all orders and check that everything that is on the invoices is there and that all the stock is of good quality and not damaged and if applicable also the right temperature.
• If stock that is on the invoice does not arrive or if too much stock has been delivered then this should be challenged immediately and reported to one of the management team inclusive of the Executive Chef, Head Chef and Sous Chef.
• To neatly put away the stock to the satisfaction of the management team.
• Have a good level of conversational English and be able to undertake tasks given by any of the management team and ensure this is done to the best of your ability.
• You thrive working as part of a team, building a relationship with colleagues and thrive under pressure and you come to work with a can-do attitude.
